KennaDee: American Singer-Songwriter and Entertainer
Born into a vibrant musical family in Alabama, KennaDee’s love for music was unmistakable from the start. From childhood, she immersed herself in choirs, ensembles, and community events...lending her voice to charity concerts and local stages with heartfelt passion.
Her professional journey began in 2015 when she became the lead singer, songwriter, and rhythm guitarist for the New York-based rock and blues band The Measure. Over the course of five dynamic years, she helped shape the band’s signature sound before stepping into the spotlight as a solo artist.
In late 2019, KennaDee released her debut solo album, Gypsy Soul...a rich, rootsy blend of blues, folk, and rock. The album earned features on NPR’s Common Threads and Westcott Radio’s Hit-n-Mix with Larry Hoyt, as well as CNYLive! with Fred Reed.
Now based in Central Florida, KennaDee continues to light up stages across the state...from bars and restaurants to intimate house concerts to bustling festivals and benefit shows. Her soulful performances and magnetic presence recently earned her a nomination as one of Mount Dora’s favorite local musicians...a testament to her growing impact and devoted fanbase.
